A booming reverb soaked floor tom beat that keeps the song thudding alongside haunting and rickety piano chords provides the perfect backdrop for the heavily sentimental ballad of a man at war writing his last letter to his loyal wife a million miles away. With the screaming sounds of a Hammond organ giving texture to the song, it sounds like a band playing for their lives in a war torn cathedral.
